Seabourn’s ships showcase the Line’s signature intimacy, elegance and sincere personalised service. Carrying only 450 or 600 guests, they are beautifully appointed, understated and designed to encourage relaxed sociability.
All ocean-front suites are luxuriously appointed with complimentary premium spirits and fine wines available on board at all times.
Tipping is neither required, nor expected. World class dining awaits with Chef Thomas Keller. Enjoy evening entertainment in collaboration with Sir Tim Rice.
Seabourn Encore has recently cruised around NZ, and I was privileged to be invited on board to look around her and experience the ship’s hospitality
The suites all have over 300 movies, and are 300sq m. The bathrooms are spacious with a bath and separate shower, and Welcome bubbles are in all room types.
There are no surcharges for any restaurant, and with five on board, there is plenty of choice. Reservations are required for The Grill as it is so popular.
There is live entertainment with 2 shows a night, 1 on the smaller ships. They have 4 vocalists and a dance couple Las Vegas style, by Sir Tim Rice (who is sometimes on board). Guest entertainers are also flown in. By day Seabourn has a “conversation programme”, where experts talk, such as naturalists, politicians, lecturers, authors, for example, Julia Gillard, Jeffrey Archer, Steve Wosniak (founder of Apple) and Movie Producers have spoken.
|Rates include all gratuities, shuttle bus in port, shopping with the Chef and zodiacs in Antarctica, plus the luxurious accommodation, all meals at all restaurants, and all drinks at any time of day.
A concierge will sit down with you at Seabourn Square to help you plan your Port days.
With so much included in the price, it makes it a very affordable cruise holiday. If you compare with other cruise lines, of a lesser standard, who don’t include all restaurants, drinks, and things like no gratuities, Seabourn is very comparative for so much more luxury.
On 6 January 2020 there will another cruise around New Zealand.
