A private pristine 4 star island resort in the beautiful Mamanuca Islands, one hour by boat from the main island
The resort offers traditionally inspired individual bure accommodation with stylish and spacious interiors. Sixty six spacious ‘bures’ (bungalows) featuring traditional Fijian style thatched roofs are nestled amongst lush tropical gardens or at the water’s edge. Stylish interiors using natural rattan and local timber furnishings, feature high vaulted ceilings lined with hand painted ‘Tapa’ cloth – each one a unique and individual design. All bures are air conditioned as well as fan cooled.
I loved that there aren't any signs showing you to your room, if you get lost you ask your way by the amazing friendly staff.
All the bure's are the same except for the Grand and Family Bures.
Large families are easily catered for in the Family and Grand Bure which has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and sleeps 6 in the Grand and 10 in the Family one
There are no TV's, alarm clocks or phones.
With 4 restaurants and bars, everyone is well catered for. The sundowner bar is idyllic to watch the sunset with your favourite cocktail. There is a buffet for breakfast and lunch with an a la carte option when these are full. 1808 is an Asian Fusion restaurant for dinner only.
The kids club looked like so much fun, most activities are all outside, and babysitters can be booked for a surcharge.
If you have an early or late arrival there is a Bure available for you at no extra charge.
There is a family pool and adults only pool and the north beach where most of the water activities take place.
